The Micro II probe is used in an automated, open approach for the rapid, safe removal of nucleus pulpous from the lumbar disc. Its unique design allows the surgeon to change the angle up to 35° to fit the specific requirements of each patient, all within the sterile field.

The Micro II™ offers a safe and economical alternative to rongeurs for the treatment of herniated nucleus pulpous.

With the easy to use Bending Fixture, the Micro II™ can be reshaped as often as necessary to access all areas of the disc.

 

The small 3.5 mm diameter minimizes tissue invasiveness and trauma.

 

Blunt probe tip and side cutting port ensure safe, guillotine cutting action.

 

Controlled automated cutting and aspiration facilitates the surgical effort and removal of nucleus pulpous.

 

Quick-Cut™ trephine is used to incise the annulus with the least disruption.

 

Single placement reduces potential damage to the neural elements and minimizes the risk of post-operative infection.

 

Operates with the Nucleotome Console.
